Privacy policy

Last updated October 23, 2026. This explains what we do with the information you give us through this website. It is short and specific, because a policy you cannot read is not much use to you.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site we receive whatever you type into it. That is normally your name, your phone number, your town, an optional email address and a description of the work you need. We only ask for what we need in order to come back to you with a useful answer.

This site also records basic usage information: which pages were visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and which site or search sent you here. It is not tied to your name.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you, to quote and carry out the work you asked about, and to keep in touch about that job. That is all. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else can see it

The services that run this website can technically access what passes through them: the company that hosts the site, the service that delivers form submissions to our inbox, and our email provider. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for anything else.

Cookies

We advertise on Google, so this site loads the Google tag. If you arrive by clicking one of our ads, Google sets a cookie that lets it tell us that the ad led to a quote request or a call. It is covered by Google's own privacy terms, and you can block it in your browser settings without losing anything on this site.

Apart from that, this website does not set any cookies of its own and does not track you between visits. The map on our service area pages is embedded from Google, and loading it means your browser contacts Google directly, which is covered by their own privacy terms rather than ours.

Asking us to delete it

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us with the details below and we will take care of it. There is no form to fill in and no charge.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change how this site handles information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
